Collection: Yoanis Gil

Yoanis Gil is a force of nature. Her work is an endless dialogue between color and the human relationship to nature. It is dynamic, fluid, colorful and filled with hidden sensual bodies. Her brushstroke is capable of creating perfect fusions of colors creating an alluring atmosphere, very close to German Expressionism

Her creative language takes us into a universe where nakedness is not a source of shame and instead a search of true passion. This nakedness is central to the feminine ideology of recovering power that comes from it is own sex. It is to build upon Georgia O'Keeffe still-life of flowers. Instead of having subtle sexualized works, Gill chooses to be proud of her femininity and presents this upon her canvas unashamedly.
