Collection: Dany Lopez

Dany Lopez is a self-taught conceptual painter who due to outstanding talent was able to join the Fund of Cultural Goods and become a registered painter, something that happens very rarely. During his formation, he was trained by Diego Torres and Arturo Montoto.

His artworks take the image of boulders, which in western culture has been seen as an obstacle. In his conceptual works he subverts this meaning and sees stones as a possibility. He is interested in exploring the message that these stones have to share by showing realities, at times contrarian, that are not spoken about enough. This is why he includes foreign objects in his bodegones / still life. With an accessible price point, this is a collection you do not want to miss.
